WelcomeWelcome to my world: A world in which I am still finding my way and my voice; where the language is laced with dry humor; where stilettos and football games go together like peas and carrots; where happy hour starts long before 5; where I make mistakes, get angry and laugh my ass off; where I will never love anything as much as I love my cat; where no one knows your name and you like it that way; where comments are welcome and where strong women who fight for what they believe in are always adored. Dupont Dating Tour of 2010
Round and round the dating pond I went last week and ended up splashing about in my own bit of the city - Dupont. Literally splashing as I got caught in the rain at least once. The following is a brief recap of last weeks romantic (or not-so-much) episode

Hold on in there. I think having your eye on someone unobtainable is a good thing. It means while you're making all the effort, there's probably someone else better suited to you waiting in the wings thinking 'My god, that woman is hot. I want her cookies'.
Ok, that did NOT end up where I was expecting (or hoping).
After all that, are you sure he's not batting for another team? I can respect the awkwardness of dating co-workers, but once that's no longer the case? Sheesh!
De gustibus non disbutatum.
Jo - fair point :) We can always hope!
Zoom - I too am disappointed!! And no - the man is NOT gay. Which makes it all the more frustrating!
